Calculation of Air Pipe Velocity
Rule of thumb is to size velocity in discharge air piping on 4,000 ft/min, and inlet on 2,000 ft/min. See Technical Reprint #42, "Optimum Layout Of Aeration Piping Systems To Minimize Pressure Drop And Lower Piping Noise Emissions".
